Do your gutter cleaning technicians have all the necessary insurances?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  UltraVac's Technicians are covered by $10 million Public Liability insurance. We are happy to forward a copy of the Certificates of Currency on request.

What form payments do you except?

Accepted Answer

You can pay our gutter cleaning technician when he completes the job either by Cash Or Card . Commercial jobs are given an invoice With Bank Details with the option to still pay by card.

Will you get rid of all rubbish/debris that falls off the roof?

The way we have set up and trained our technicians we dont usually allow debris to fall off the roof.  but on the rare occasion that it does, we will leave the property/floor cleaner than when we arrived.

Can you repair my roof while your here?

Accepted Answer

We can do minor repairs, which include replacing or repairing broken tiles, sealing gaps with silicone, and other similar jobs.

Do i need to be at home or my business when you come?

Accepted Answer

No you dont.  Usually, we can access the roof with a ladder from the front of your house and there is no need for the householder/business owner to be there while we are working. we can send through an invoice with photos attached to it and the invoice allows you to pay with any card.

Why should i hire a professional to clean my gutters?

You should hire someone to clean your gutters for many reasons,  First of all we are professionals who do this every day. We hyave specialised equipment (Vacuums) which effectively clean it better and do it much faster than you would be able to by hand.  Second, gutter cleaning is our main business therefore during the cleaning we may spot problems you would not be aware of.  Thirdly we are fully insured and trained/certified to work at heights have years of experience on ladders. For the average person it is not work the risk of falling to save the small fee we charge.

Whats the usual wait time for bookings?

During off peak times of the year we can usually have a crew out to your home within a week. However during peak times of the year when the leaves fall, we can usually have someone out to your home within 2-3 weeks depending on the area you reside.

We cant give and exact time for a job to be completed since there are so many different kinds of houses/buildings as well as what needs to be done. An average house usually takes 1 hour.

How much does gutter cleaning cost in melbourne?

If you provide your address we can check the house/building using several different satellite services we pay for hich allows us to see everything we need to see from the office. We will then give you a price on the spot when you make the enquiry.  If a contact us form is filled we will have a look prior to calling and let you know the cost. The price is based on several factors, such as how high the roof is, how full the gutters seem, the kind of roof and angle it’s pitched at. Whatever it does cost though, will be cheaper than getting a roofer to fix serious damage due to lack of maintenance.

What will happen if i dont clean my roof gutters and they get clogged?

When the gutters become clogged, the water does not flow through to the down pipes and get directed away from your property. Instead it overflows over the front or back of the gutter. When the water overflows over the front of the gutter it is easy to notice, usually it erodes the soil below the leaking area, begins making black marks on the side of your home/building from the dirty water inside the gutter continually leaking.  If the water in the gutter starts overflowing over the back of the gutter, it can leak inside your home, can create a wet mouldy look on your eves, potentially creating mould inside your home too. In addition if there is fascia boards/rafters behind the gutter, these will begin to rot.

how do i know if my roof gutters are needing to be cleaned?

Roof gutters will not work properly if they are clogged. Some good signs the gutters are clogged is the water overflowing from the top, water in your garden bed, water constantly leaking from the gutters when it is not raining or hasn’t rained recently.  Water leaking inside your home/building, generally where the ceilings meet the walls. These are just the most obvious signs of clogged gutters, sometimes the signs are not so easy to spot, which is why we recommend cleaning the gutters atleast once a year.
